The University of St.Gallen is a leading European business school based in Eastern Switzerland.

Founded in 1898, the University became a fully-fledged business school in 1911. Today, our school has one of the largest management faculties in Europe, and a 7,000 strong full-time student body. We offer a full range of undergraduate, postgraduate, executive (both degree and short-term) and doctoral programmes and were the first university in the German-speaking area to offer an independent international MBA programme.

The University of St.Gallen enjoys an enviable position as one of Europe's most sought after Universities and an unrivalled reputation in the German-speaking area (a market of over 100 million affluent consumers, and the home of many leading multinational corporations). In all programmes, we teach students to adopt a cross functional rather than a single function approach, and we offer interdisciplinary classes in for instance economics and law. The University of St.Gallen is renowned for its proximity to the business world. In order to better serve the requirements of this clientele, our executive education programmes, including the St.Gallen MBA programme, are brought together in the new Executive School of Management, Technology and Law (ES-HSG).

In offering an international MBA programme, the University of St.Gallen is embarking upon an ambitious project. We aspire to be ranked as a top MBA programme, and with the support of the University's corporate partners and strong alumni network, we believe we can achieve this objective. We are looking for enterprising and ambitious students who are keen both to contribute to this pioneer spirit and to benefit from it. I invite you to join us in our endeavour and take advantage of perspectives that most universities can indeed only dream of.
