Accommodation Options

The campus of the University of St.Gallen does not host any dormitories or apartments of its own that might be rented by students. However, due to the campus' long existence, a specific rental market for students has emerged. Most residential areas in the vicinity of the main university campus cater to students' housing needs but tend to have higher rents. Students can find more reasonable housing downtown or on the other hill side and can commute to campus using the effective bus system. Most students prefer to rent a larger apartment as a group or join one of the many, already existing housing communities. There are even townhouses that only rent to students and offer special amenities, e.g. broadband Internet access, as often requested by students. Housing communities are recommended for new students since they offer a great opportunity to get to know local people and culture, and to exercise your foreign language skills.

 

The MBA Office has a housing consultant to support all future students in locating suitable accommodation for the duration of their studies. We have a number of regular landlords and we also make an effort ot find accommodation based on the individual needs of each student and their partner or family.
