Course Structure
Structure
The PLD consist of 38 days of classroom training, organised in four modules of one week (five days, Monday-Friday), and six weekend-modules (three days, Thursday-Saturday). Modules are conducted on campus in St.Gallen and in Barcelona. Additional modules possibly take place in a third location, which is still to be defined.
Curriculum
The curriculum will include all fundamental areas of General Management as well as Management Functions, and might also include elements of personal development and soft skills.
The LEAD-programme, developed by ESADE, will form an essential part of the PLD, in order to develop key competencies at the same time as they learn concepts of leadership. In addition to the classroom training, candidates will have to complete an individual or group assignment, e.g. either a leadership project or a thesis. Candidates should plan to spend two days per months on this assignment.
The curriculum is jointly developed by St.Gallen and ESADE and is delivered by Faculty from both universities.
