LEAD Courses
The Leadership and Development Course (LEAD), a key component of the Programme of Leadership Development, helps individuals to reach their personal development goals as managers of organisations. It provides tools for evaluating and developing knowledge throughout the participants’ careers, and it enables the participants to build the competencies that lead to outstanding managerial performance. The approach is based on experiential learning in an ongoing, supportive environment that encourages personal development, teamwork, feedback, reflection and the will to confront change.
An essential element of the LEAD course is the technological platform, an on-line resource including assessment instruments, self-development exercises and a communication tool for participants, course trainers and coaches.
The LEAD course also includes a coaching component consisting of a fifty-minute, one-to-one coaching session at the end of the training. Participants will:
Discuss and interpret the results of the 360º Emotional and Social Competency Inventory
Identify strengths and weaknesses in leadership areas and their implications for the participant’s career path
Apply knowledge from the course to create a development plan for building competencies in emotional intelligence and leadership.
The LEAD course will serve as a point of reference throughout the entire programme. All week-long modules will include a day for the LEAD programme and development of individual leadership skills
