The purpose of this course is to raise your awareness of the areas you need to continuously focus on and update in order to stay relevant in the job market.
Your professional skills and competencies form the first “image” that you bring to any situation. That image is what gets you through the door, or gets you that job. As you progress in your career, the importance of those skills and competencies will only increase. Since we are in the business of accelerating careers, the MBA programme has developed this course so that you may actively work on improving your performance by becoming clear on “who” you are, the “value” you bring to any organisation, how you “communicate” that value, and how you “persuade” and “engage” others in what you want to achieve. Specifically, this course will be delivered in five parts, focusing on:
- Part A: “Making Great Presentations” (persuading and engaging others using ppt presentations)
- Part B: “Personal Branding” (who you are)
- Part C: “Communication Skills” (persuading and engaging others making the best of your voice and body)
- Part D: Recruitment Trends (knowing how to best access the job market).
