Team dynamics is the first topic covered in the MBA programme, and this is for a very good reason: during the programme, you will spend much time working and learning in groups. Your peers will be an important source of knowledge and you will be challenged by the interaction with others. Your overall programme experience will be coloured by how well you handle yourself in team settings, and to what extent you will be able to transform into a high- performing team. The MBA class offers a simulated international work environment, with diverse nationalities, cultural backgrounds, and industry experience. Being part of such a class will stretch you to question some of your behaviours and competencies, both technical and social. The purpose of this course is to guide you how to perform well in teams.
The course is delivered in four parts:
A. “Outdoor Day” (during which you will experience a simulated team environment);
B. “Reflection Day” (during which you will reflect on your experience the day before, and address key topics of team development);
C. “Social Style Workshop” (during which you will go through self-assessment and 360° feedback);
D. “Team Coaching” (during which you will give and receive feedback and reflect on it).
