Amanda leads a highly talented team to deliver an MBA program that builds students’ knowledge, skills, and connections to take their careers to the next level.

Amanda is a Professor of Management and MBA Director at the University of St. Gallen. Her research focuses on how organizations leverage human talent to achieve high levels of success, while at the same time, ensure that they make a positive impact in the communities in which they operate. Prior to joining St. Gallen, Amanda was the MBA Director at Trinity College Dublin, and has worked in universities in Canada, France, and the UK. She sits on the Executive Committee of the Human Resources Division of the Academy of Management and the Scientific Committee of the Chartered Association of Business Schools. Amanda publishes her research in top academic and practitioner journals, and she has won several awards for her work. Amanda regularly supports organizations to develop employee engagement and other human resources strategies.

Amanda holds a PhD from the University of Toronto, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and a BA from McGill University. She is a Canadian citizen, originally from Toronto, and speaks English. She enjoys reading, cooking and travelling.
