We recently asked our current MBAs: What are your most memorable experiences in the programme so far?

Most of our MBAs cited specific moments in class:

·       “The Outdoor Day was a memorable experience - achieving results with people you hardly know and having great fun was just amazing!”

·       “One of my most memorable experiences in the MBA was the Team Dynamics day, where we had the chance to get to know each other and which was the beginning of great friendships.”

·       “A great memorable experience in the MBA was when we had a Leadership course, which allowed us to build stronger bonds by sharing feelings and personal experiences.”

·       “The group assignment during Accounting and Controlling and how effective did a diverse team perform. Among others, the activity was amusing!”

·       “The Communication class with Olivia Schofield was a great experience. I have never seen so much energy in a room.”

Two singled out the famous ‘aha moment’ that comes with learning something new:

·        “The first aha! moment during class. The feeling of excitement remains unforgettable.”

·       “The aha-effect in corporate finance comes completely unexpectedly (and in some cases too late).”

Two other responses reflected on the interpersonal development that happens outside of formal class time:

·        “Coffee breaks during classes, loaded with energy, enthusiasm and networking between ambitious MBA candidates.”

·       “One of my most memorable experiences in the MBA was those study sessions in the MBA building, where everybody collaborated to make the whole group succeed.”

Finally, having fun with your classmates is also an important part of the MBA journey:

·        “Meeting after class for playing football and having a nice evening together afterwards was a great experience for growing together.”

·       “That a ‘HAT’-tentive class on Zoom does not confuse the proficient lecturer.”

·        “Pizza tastes best at 10pm on campus together with your peers.”
